This year we have a visitor from the North Pole staying with us. An Elf sent by Santa himself came to watch the girls. He is supposed to be taking notes and telling Santa how wonderful the girls are behaving. Except he is a beginner elf. It's his first year to watch the kids and he is learning his Elf manners. He gets into all kinds of trouble. One morning we woke up to him climbing in the tree. Another morning he was sitting in the window and had eaten all the chocolate candy! He felt bad for that and then next day arrived with a bag of snowman poop. His job at the North Pole is to pick up the snowman poop he thinks its disgusting that people like to eat it. Of course we call them powder doughnut holes. My favorite part of the letter was when he mentioned they needed to clean the playroom. The girls named their elf, Elfy. When deciding what to name him our 2 year old blurted out Jack Hardy. I thought that was great but in the end Elfy won.
