Is it Spring yet?

Well not exactly but it does fill an awful lot like spring.  Many of you have already scheduled your spring sessions.  I'm sure you are wondering what to wear. This just came out today and I thought I would share it with you guys.  Notice how the different patterns, and colors compliment each other.  Feel free to use this as a guide and as always don't be afraid to ask me if you have any questions.  Time to go shopping!

Little red headed boy

I'm starting to miss those snow days more and more.  It seems like our days are filled to the rim and then some lately.  I'm trying my hardest to not get behind, but I think I am. 

This little guy came over Sunday afternoon.  I absolutely loved him!  He has the best baby hair ever :)  His mom really wanted sleepy baby photos.  I had assured her that I didn't think it would be a issue .  I really didn't think it would be either.  Most babies sleep until they are around 3 weeks old.  I'm pretty good at waiting it out too and we tried.  We waited for a couple of hours and he didn't sleep at all.  So we have cute wide awake newborn photos.  Either way they are precious and we got to see his serious side.  Congrats and thank you for sharing your little miracle.

Perfectly adorable

This little guy arrived in a heavy sleep.  We got several sleeping pictures before he woke up.   Don't you just love those wrinkles and the lips.  Oh the lips!  He has a very cute older sister who happened to not be in a picture taking mood this day.  She is as cute as can be and reminds me a lot of my own two year old.  Thanks again for coming out.  Congrats on Baby J.  He is perfectly adorable.

Little tea party

Another little girl turns one!  We actually tried these in the studio last week.  I found out I didn't have enough space for a curious one year old.  After they went home,  I was previewing the session and I realized we were going to have to try again.  Thankfully, the weekend worked for both of us and so did the weather.  I absolutely love how these are turning out.  I love the balloons!  (I've been wanting to do a session with balloons for a year now.)  I'm thrilled with the golden sunset and of course the little tea party.  When you put all that together and add a happy one year old, it's a great session.  Thank you for coming out for a second take.

Simply content.

I think she was having a pretty good time.

I was sure I would love these in color.  That was until I saw this one in Black and white.  There is something about this one that makes me want to keep looking. 

It almost looks like she is going to fly away with those balloons.

I can't get over how much this little guy has grown.  He can sit up on his own now and is just as happy as can be.  6 months has got to be one of the best ages at least in my opinion.  We had a great time hanging out in the studio on Super Bowl Sunday (before the big game).  We did venture outside for a few photos but it was windy and chilly so we didn't stay out too long.  I can't get enough of his big smile and those blue eyes!

Already One!

I can't believe this sweet girl is already one. It seems like we were just taking those sleepy newborn photos yesterday. This little girl belongs to a long time friend of mine. The sun was setting on a beautiful day, so we took the opportunity for a quick session. This was right before all the cold weather hit. I love the nostalgic feel of these images. They make me miss summer evenings and carefree days at the moment. Of course I'm sure that has a lot to do with being snowed in for the past week. Thanks for calling on me to capture your sweet children.  Let's not wait so long between visits.
