These lovely young ladies are always so much fun to photograph. I'm pretty sure they could have a job in modeling if they wanted. We went out to a new to me location in Mckinney. It's a great place I can't wait to go back. I'm already planning outfits for my girls. :) Of course I had to get the silhouette shot in. I'm having fun with those this summer.

Baby love...
Newborn love
This sweet newborn was only 5 days old. She is so tiny and I really could have spent all day just holding her. I processed these a little differently than usual. She is soft and delicate and I wanted these images to reflect that. I also got some with her big brother and sister but I haven't quite finished with those yet. They are very proud to say the least!
6 months!

More summer fun
This week I had the opportunity to meet with a dear friend and capture the personalities of her sweet children. I think the Gerber baby has some serious competition! This sweet baby is the perfect age of 6 months all smiles and giggles. She is also the first baby to break in the studio. She was so much fun, I think we need to play again soon. Her brother is a fun energetic 5 year old. We walked down to look at the horses. He liked them a lot, but not when they sneezed on him. I'm loving these summer sunsets.
Cousin time
It's always fun to be in the amidst of cousins. Well, unless it's over 100 degrees outside. Not to mention crazy scary cats and bees hanging around. No, it wasn't that bad was it? We had fun! These kids are such troopers I'm sure that one day they will look back and have fond memories of their special session. I really did enjoy it guys and I hope we can do it again.... Of course maybe when it's just a little bit cooler :)

She's growing up!
One of the best parts of my job is seeing my clients growing each year. This sweet girl just turned 3! I remember taking her picture when she was just starting to walk. Now she is just full of funny sayings. She kept us laughing the whole time. We had a great evening and got some wonderful shots just as the sun was going down. Such a lovely family!

A little update
I decided to take a few weeks off and just breathe. It was much needed I assure you! I spent some time at the lake with my family. The girls and I have very much enjoyed our time together. My house is looking better and better each day.
But now I am back in business. My camera is being charged up, dusted off and I'm more ready now than ever before! In the coming weeks I have several new locations that are just waiting to be explored. Summer evenings have the best sun and haze. It's going to be awesome! I also have several babies scheduled in my new studio. Yes, I'm very excited to say the least!
Oh, I almost forgot we have a new addition to our family. About a month ago we adopted a sweet tiny puppy from another family. Her name is Lizzie Lollipop and she is loving her new home. She is pretty cute if I do say so myself.
I hope you are relaxing and soaking up the last few weeks of Summer 2010!
Here are a few of my spring portraits.
